Q. How much weight can a PHOne PHOb hold if a PHOne PHOb can hold weight?
A. Plenty! An average smart phone in a case weighs less than 1/2 pound or about 7oz. We needed our PHObs to not only handle that weight, but also handle life's tugs and snags. Our PHOnePHObs can handle well over 5 pounds, that's about 10 cell phones! PHOnePHOb is designed to hang a cell phone in a case that weighs less than 1 pound.
Q. Will it block my charger?
A. NO. The slim yet mighty metal PHOb allows room for the charger in most cases.
The low profile metal PHOb is designed to remain in your case even when the detachable phone strap is not being used. The PHOb can be gently bent back away from the port opening if needed.
Q. Do you use glue?
A. NO WAY. PHOne PHOb uses zero gummy, unreliable adhesives, & no cheap fragile plastics. We feature all metal hardware with high quality, strength tested, jewelry-like "straps"
Q. Which way should the clasp face?
A. We recommend having the ball that you slide face the front, towards your phone screen. NOTE: Make sure your clasp is completely closed. This photo shows how we do it:
Q. Why cross-body?
A. We tested our PHObs with a shorter, around the neck, lanyard style cell phone necklace.
We concluded a longer cross-body style was more functional because:
- it's a phone, NOT a wrecking ball! Xbody holds your phone closer to your body
- weight is distributed on your shoulder, not your neck, so Xbody feels more comfortable over time
- if needed, Xbody allows you to move your phone to hang out of the way on your side or behind you, & you can rest it on the small of your back when leaning forward.
Q. Does every style arrive gift boxed?
A. All 54" necklace styles include a storage pouch and arrive gift boxed. The smaller wristlets include a storage pouch and are enclosed in a protective plastic bag.
